Want to know what the benefits are to direct selling? Well, I’ve got a friend who has been part of Amway Global for the past year now and he always has good things to say. He has tried to convince me a few times by telling me that selling to my network will be something great to do. He says this because I love talking. He says I’m perfect for this because I love hanging out with friends in cafes.
But what I loved the most about my friends sales pitch is that he told me to view selling as a conversation and not hard selling. His point is this: if you used the products yourself and can swear by how effective they are, selling to people is just telling them why you really love the product. No charts or sales presentation required, just simple chatting. This made perfect sense to me.
