Wednesday, November 30th, 2011Today in class we were actually having a seminar, a school wide seminar, which mind you is something is required for some schools now. But the topics are usually pretty boring, either that or they are depressing. One day we talked about the Titanic (depressing) and some painting (boring) and even legal issues in education. If you do not mind me saying discussing legal issues in education and university accreditation is one of the best boring topics I believe that anyone could discuss. Who actually wants to discuss something like that, I understand that we, being college students, should actually know these things but still it’s boring. People in my class actually do not say anything during these seminars, we seem to only talk when the teacher spoke and our answers seem to be very vague and simple. Every seminar we discuss with such boring topics usually result in things like this; moans and silence. It makes us wonder why teachers still pick such stupid topics personally they should let us pick the topics unless they want to torture us with boring seminars.
